- This newfound confidence led me to academic success in high school, where I earned a full academic scholarship to college

- Through my involvement with my family and Boy Scouts, I learned the importance of giving back
- Earning my Eagle Scout award was a milestone that reinforced my belief in helping those in need
- My family regularly prepared meals for the homeless, and these early experiences instilled in me a lifelong passion for serving others
- As I grew older, my greatest role model was my maternal grandfather, who practiced law for over 50 years
