- While in law school, during legislative sessions in Tallahassee, he worked as an Associate at a lobbying firm, Robert M. Levy & Associates
- After graduating from law school, Mr. Salas was an associate at a small litigation firm in Miami which focused on diverse areas of civil and criminal litigation
- Eventually, he built a real estate practice and became a partner in the firm
- Some years later Mr. Salas started his own firm focusing mainly on real estate and he worked on his own for twelve years before joining Cole, Scott & Kissane
- Mr. Salas has worked with individual and corporate clients to buy/sell and develop real property all over Florida
- As a transactional attorney, he has also worked with clients to protect their interests and successfully complete complex real property and commercial transactions
- In addition, Mr. Salas has represented banks and lenders in financing transactions and in disputes with borrowers
- Mr. Salas has represented developers in all phases of the development of condominium projects, from condominium documents to closing, including association turnover
