- After graduating from Bellarmine magna cum laude, he was awarded an English-Speaking Union Scholarship at Exeter College in Oxford, England
- Rob then taught high school at St. Francis High School in Louisville for two years before moving to Maryland to attend graduate school and law school.In law school, Rob worked full-time as a law clerk at Clark & Steinborn, P.C. while attending classes at night
- He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2005 and has been practicing in Kentucky since moving back to Louisville, in 2006
