- It didn’t take long, though, for me to realize that I wanted to expand my horizons
- I decided to enter private practice so that I could take on a more versatile caseload
- I started working at the Stout Law Firm where I learned to practice criminal law as a private attorney
- I also began my practice in Family Law
- Over the years I was able to learn to become a better lawyer from both areas of law
- Since then my family law practice has grown
- I later joined the Law Offices of Shawn H. Smith
- I have been working here since 2022 handling primarily Family Law Cases, but still keeping some criminal law and restraining order cases on my docket
