- After nearly 3 years at Reist & Maples, PLC, Sarah transitioned her firm to Digby Family Law, PLC, to reflect her new married name and bring on an associate attorney
- Sarah has represented clients in a variety of areas including divorce, alimony, child support, child custody, termination of parental rights, dependency and neglect actions, orders of protection, adoption, LBGT family law issues, mediation, paternity fraud, prenuptial agreements, grandparent visitation, guardianships, and basic will packages
- Sarah received her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she served as student notes editor for VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF TRANSNATIONAL LAW
- Her participation in the Moot Court Competition earned her a spot as a member of the Moot Court Board and as a judge for the Mock Trial and First Amendment competitions
- She was a member of the Law and Business Society, the Legal Aid Society, and co-chair of the Class Gift Fundraising Committee
- A native of Indiana, Sarah completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University where she graduated with high honors, receiving a dual degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology
- She was selected for the Dean’s List, and was inducted to the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Fraternity
- Sarah’s undergraduate degree in Psychology, past work in a domestic violence legal clinic, and work as an intern to the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse division of the Indianapolis Prosecutor’s Office have given her a unique insight into some of the more delicate issues related to family law matters
- Because of this background, Sarah strives to be a zealous advocate for her clients while at the same time building relationships focused upon individual needs

- Sarah is proud to have been nominated for inclusion in the Belmont University College of Law American Inn of Court where she met monthly with other attorneys to mentor first year law students and to conduct continuing legal education programs
- She is also honored to have served on the Tennessee Bar Association Family Law Committee Executive Council where she conferenced with other attorneys throughout the state of Tennessee to discuss proposed legislative changes in the field of family law and to make recommendations on these proposals
- Sarah is also a member of Women Own Business, a Nashville-based organization for female business owners
- Sarah’s speaking engagements include multiple presentations on grandparents’ rights for the Relative Caregivers program of Family and Children’s Services, a presentation on the practice of family law for the Belmont Family Law Panel and for the Nashville Bar Association Solo/Small Firm Committee, and a discussion about the Nashville sit-ins at Pearl Cohn Magnet High School
- In her free time, Sarah spent several years serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer, advocating for the interests of children involved in the court system
- Sarah also helps to draft wills for servicemen and servicewomen through the Tennessee Bar Association “Wills for Heroes” project
- She serves as an attorney advocate for the Davidson County Juvenile Court “Youth Court” program and is a volunteer in mock court programs for high school students
- Sarah lives with her husband Drew Digby, who works at the Brentwood financial planning firm TrustCore
- Sarah and Drew have two daughters who have given Sarah hands-on insight into the needs of children
- Sarah and Drew also foster large breed dogs through Big Fluffy Dog Rescue
