- Mr. Brown also has considerable public sector experience
- He served as the Corporation Counsel for the City of Rochester
- In that capacity he was the chief legal officer of the City and head of its law department
- He also served as Deputy County Attorney for Monroe County gaining invaluable civil litigation experience, while serving as an advisor to the County Executive and other senior County officials
