- He has engaged in legislative review, most recently in respect of the proposed changes to the Bankruptcy & Insolvency Act
- Terry has also taught business law at Grant MacEwan College, presented seminars on collection law and practices and on various legislation including the Civil Enforcement Act, the Personal Property Security Act, and the Fair Trading Act
- He has written and presented papers at Canadian Bar Association, LORMAN Education Services, the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) seminars, and the Legal Education Society of Alberta (LESA)
- Terry’s litigation practice has included issues of directors’ liability including directors’ and officers’ duties and obligations, the rights of minority shareholders and the oppression remedy, violation of restrictive covenants, fraudulent conveyances and preferences, commercial and residential lease enforcement, intellectual property matters, and litigation involving the interpretation and enforcement of contracts
