  • Representing a manufacturing and distribution company in multimillion-dollar claims arising from the defective design and engineering of a Texas processing facility. Tiffany obtained summary judgment and prevailed on interlocutory appeal. Automated Ingredient Sys., L.L.C. v. Hiller Carbon, LLC, No. 09-23-00028-CV, 2024 Tex. App. LEXIS 1209 (Tex. App.—Beaumont Feb. 15, 2024, pet. denied June 7, 2024). Tiffany serves as lead counsel.
  • Representing an EPC contractor in federal court in Texas in litigation involving competing breach of contract claims, including issues under Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code § 38.0015 concerning attorney’s fees as compensatory damages in construction contract disputes.
  • Representing a global EPC contractor in a dispute arising from a modular construction project utilizing progressive design-build and Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), with an amount in controversy exceeding $50 million.
  • Representing a global engineering and construction firm in a decommissioning project dispute and prevailing on interlocutory appeal before the California Court of Appeal, which upheld the trial court’s denial of a motion to compel arbitration, keeping the case in the Superior Court of Santa Barbara County. Remedial Constr. Servs., LP v. AECOM, Inc. (2021) 65 Cal. App. 5th 658. Tiffany served as lead counsel, handled all appellate briefing, and presented oral argument.
  • Representing a general contractor in contentious, multimillion-dollar litigation involving an interlocutory appeal, a multi-week trial, and claims for breach of contract, negligence, and fraud. Patriot Contracting, LLC v. Mid-Main Props. LP, 650 S.W.3d 819 (Tex. App.—Houston [14th Dist.] 2022, pet. denied Oct. 21, 2022). Tiffany directed overall litigation strategy and coordinated with trial, appellate, and surety counsel.
  • Representing a developer in claims against the City of Plum Grove, Texas and its mayor related to construction delays, due process concerns, regulatory matters, and equal protection issues, including claims involving defamation, the Texas Defamation Mitigation Act, the Texas Citizen Participation Act, and requests for injunctive relief.
  • Representing a multifunctional engineering design firm in a subrogation matter arising from a loss during construction of the $1.5 billion Valley Crossing Pipeline project. The engagement involved FEED, detailed engineering and design, subsea support, project management, and survey services for a 167-mile onshore and offshore pipeline, with an amount in controversy exceeding $50 million. Tiffany served as lead counsel and resolved the matter prior to depositions.
