- Tony spent 2½ years at Robins Kaplan before deciding to attend the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford, CT
- While at UConn Law, Tony was again a campus leader and proudly served 2 terms as President of the UConn Law Chapter of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) in addition to being inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity
- Tony also received the George and Lorraine Schatzki Award for Outstanding Service to the School for being instrumental in bringing several large events to the school
- After graduating from UConn Law, Tony moved to Texas, where he worked briefly with IE Discovery, Inc., before becoming a Legal Assistant at West Short & Associates, P.C., a civil litigation law firm in Georgetown, Texas
