Car towed for blocking a driveway, car damaged by tow. AutoReturn unresponsive to accept or deny liability.

Mistakenly blocked driveway on June 11, 2013. Ticketed and towed to AutoReturn. Private tow company dispatched damages car during tow, which I notice before leaving AutoReturn (& after paying $501 to claim car). Filed a claim w/my insurance, Geico, who then filed claim with AutoReturn. Adjuster's estimate for damages was $1140. With $500 deductible and paying out of pocket $200 for a rental car, I have $400 left for repairs - unless AutoReturn accepts liability and pays out Geico for damages + rental. Geico has diligently been attempting to reach AutoReturn since June 11 to no avail. What recourse do I have if AutoReturn continues to ignore Geico's attempts, and/or if they eventually deny liability? The longer they ignore Geico, the more I want to sue AutoReturn &/or private tow company!!

If Geico paid out, they have the right to seek reimbursement for those amounts, not you. Leave it up to Geico. You can sue for any out of pocket costs that Geico did not cover, including your deductible. Perfect for small claims.
Up to your insurance company. If no satisfaction, you could go to small claims. Work with your insurance carrier.
