In the event that your attorney lost his license or is otherwise unable or unwilling to pursue your case on your behalf, you are free to seek representation from counsel of your choosing. If you have any further questions, I would be happy to discuss your particular situation in greater detail.

You are always free to choose your own attorney.

The short answer is yes, you are always entitled to choose your own attorney. Typically when an attorney loses his/her license, another attorney is assigned to the case. You are always free, however, to retain a different attorney of your choosing. It is probably in your best interest to find someone sooner than later, however. Best of luck and feel free to call should you have any questions.

Of course. You are always entitled to choose as to whom you want to represent you.

You are always free to choose your own counsel. If the attorney you had lost his license then the Statewide Grievance Committee, the board which oversees attorneys in Connecticut, likely appointed an attorney to supervise that attorney's files in the interim. Regardless if that is the case, you as the client may always choose your own counsel. You also have a right to your file upon request should you choose to move to a new firm.

A client always has the right to choose his attorney, and if the attorney you have lost his licence he no longer is one and you need another, pronto.
