She is being charged with possession of meth. Felony I. Bail jumping. Take and drive vehicle w/o concent. Felony H. Manufacturing/delivery of heroin <3g. About 6 or more retail thefts and just as many bail jumping. Just wondering if anyone knows if anything can be done to lessen these charges. Or if anyone has seen something similar and what happened

She absolutely needs to contact an attorney. An attorney will have experience in reviewing discovery, filing motions, and negotiating with the district attorney to possibly reduce the charges. If she cannot afford an attorney, have her contact the local public defender's office.

Your friend needs to get an attorney ASAP, whether through the State Public Defenders office, through the court, or privately. These are very serious charges with very serious consequences, and she will have far greater success with the outcome if she has an attorney than if not. The end result will depend on her history, the facts behind the charges, if there are addiction issues, etc.
