I've seen "PTR" as pretrial hearing, but haven't seen this one before

It means that it's a Family Violence case, probably Family Violence Setting, but the Court Coordinator can confirm or correct that. It is probably "unindicted," and is certainly not a plea or trial setting.

Looking at the criminal courts docket http://www.co.travis.tx.us/courts/files/dockets/criminal.asp, it appears that all the "FVS" settings are in County Court 4 which is the Family Violence court. So I think David Smith is correct these must mean "Family Violence Setting" although some of the cases with this designation are DWI or possession cases, and not family violence cases.

Both attorneys are correct and it appears to stand for Family Violence Setting and so assigned to the specific court (which handles other cases too).
