Is H1 visa holders allowed to work from home?

I live in SC and work in NC. I am on H1B Visa with approved I-140 with priority date of Year 2012. My visa is valid until Dec 2017.
I have a job offer from a big Bank and the job is based out of NJ.I would still be working for my current employer but my end client would change.
Since I live in SC,they are offering me 100% remote work from home.
Is H1 visa holders allowed to work from home?
The job is based out of NJ and my residence is SC (different states). Will it be an issue.
On the LCA what would be my Primary and Secondary work location?
If there is a site visit by USCIS at the client work location (where the job is based) and since I work from home, does it result in NOIR or will they call and schedule a home visit.
The client can issue a letter saying I can work remote for this job

Working from home is permitted provided proper procedures are followed. Your company's immigration attorney will need to advise you on the details. If you'd like advice independent of the company attorney you should schedule a consultation with an immigration attorney of your choosing.
