Change address on Pending Asylum case for Syrian

I filed for asylum and it is pending, I did not get a notice for interview - the only thing is I had my biometric.
I recently get a job and I accept it and moved to other state, my question is that I must update USCIS with my new address? And change of address can it affect my case to be delayed - I was advised that by my lawyer that I might wait for longer period now for interview?!
I know I must update USCIS with my address.

Number 1:You absolutely must notify USCIS that you changed your address.
Number 2: Your case may take longer. it may be sooner. It is up the the asylum office that will assume jurisdiction for your case.

You need to provide USCIS and the asylum office with a notice of your change of address. Your change of address may cause a delay in you receiving an interview notice.
