I am in the process of having dental work done and have had all the work done to prepare for Cosmetic Dentistry for a bridge and two crowns. The dentist suggested to use ceramic material which I have never had in any previous crown that was porcelain over high noble metal (gold). I now have a temporary in place. When I went to have the permanent bridge and crown put in place they were not the correct color, not the correct size and the incisor teeth were not the same size which would make my smile look uneven. I am very stressed mostly because when the dentist was getting ready to place the teeth I was the one who said they were the wrong color, size and that the incisor's were not the same size. The dentist said we never discussed the incisor's being the same size ???????? The whole idea of getting cosmetic dentistry??????? I don't know what to think but my biggest problem now is that the sound of the ceramic teeth sounds so glassy when they touched each other when testing them in my mouth I cannot stand that sound. I know that I will hear that every time I eat something and touch a piece of silverware to the teeth. I don't want the ceramic teeth and want to know

Perhaps a second opinion with another dentist is appropriate.

You will likely be charged additional money if you want to change.
