Adult son autopsy came back manner of death undetermined. There was foul play. Do I need an attorney?

Death undetermined. Toxicology report showed high levels of wifes medication. Wife and wifes friend said he hung himself. No evidence of hanging and the stories keep changing as to how they found him. We are certain she drugged him and staged the hanging. I need medical records from the 2 hospitals before his death. Wife just won a million dollar medical practice settlement. My son was trying to leave her & she did not want to have to share the money. Took place in Bucyrus, OH small town police have low budget. Do I need an attorney to get this investigated fully, if so what type of attorney do I hire.

You need to contact the prosecutor and police detectives to see if they will do a full investigation. other than that you would want to find an attorney that handles wrongful death cases to see about a civil case against her.

If local authorities will not help, you will need to get counsel to petition the Court to order an independent autopsy, if that is possible, or to order that the body be disinterred and examined. The burden of proof to get this done is quite difficult to provide without knowing more.

Try to work with the police but also contact an experienced personal injury or wrongful death lawyer to investigate a case against the wife.

I would hire an experienced attorney. First rule of thumb is if you are wondering do I need an attorney ... You do. Trust your instinct. Something is wrong here. Get an experienced attorney.
