What does Last Action: "Traffic Mail" mean as my Traffic School status? (Los Angeles County)

I got a red light camera ticket - paid it and my status states Dismissed. However, as my first offense I was able to avoid the ticket being reported to the DMV only if I pay the fees and attend Traffic School. I took traffic school online and had confirmation that my certificate of completion was sent to the Van Nuys court house. When I went to check two weeks later, my ticket status read Last Action: "Traffic Mail." I am uncertain if "Traffic Mail" means they mailed me my permission to take traffic school - or that I have been cleared.

I find the language used in the online status very confusing. I would suggest going to clerk with printout and asking them to look up your matter. You want to make sure traffic school credit has been given.

I would suggest either making a call to the traffic clerk of the court you were originally scheduled to appear and asking them to check their system or go to the DMV and pull a print out of your driving record. If either state that you did not complete traffic school make sure to go to the court with your certificate of completion. Best of luck - www.fix-tickets.com
