- I would meet them and take pride in their admiration of my father
- I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer and represent clients that needed my help

- Bruning I was an athlete in high school playing both football and track
- I then went to undergrad at the University of Missouri where I could enjoy my passion for Mizzou sports up close
- After obtaining my degree in Business Administration I went to St. Louis University for Law School
- I knew I wanted to be in court so after law school I obtained a job working at the Circuit Attorney’s Office in the City of St. Louis
- It was at the Circuit Attorney’s Office that I was able to hone my trial skills while representing victims of crime
- At the Circuit Attorney’s Office, I tried over 50 cases starting with simple assaults and then eventually murder cases
- I presided over the Grand Jury and was head of the Bomb and Arson unit
- In 2011, I was honored with the Circuit Attorney “Trial Star” for winning every jury trial I tried that year
- A.J.: IL & MO Personal Injury Lawyer I represent individuals in Missouri and Illinois in all types of personal injury cases
- I have obtained a judgment for $2.5 million and settled a large class action lawsuit for a confidential amount
