- However, as much as his family history and ethos informed his character, it was a two year missionary commitment in rural Mexico as a young adult that would solidify his path toward law school
- Working in one of the most impoverished villages among our neighbors to the south, Aaron did not speak a word of Spanish when he arrived, and his hosts did not speak a word of English
- Yet, it was under these circumstances that he learned to relinquish all that does not matter in this life, and to embrace those things that do: fairness, compassion, fortitude, and a foundational belief in the dignity of every human being
- Though he would become an accomplished financier in his early twenties, Aaron decided to turn his intellect, energy, and drive toward helping others as an attorney
