Albert Bart is a general corporate and commercial transactions attorney with nearly 30 years of law firm and in-house experience. At Sherrard Roe, Albert represents businesses, private equity firms, and individual investors in a wide array of corporate and transactional matters, including providing counsel on business and operational matters, mergers and acquisitions, and equity and debt financings. He works in a variety of industries with both buyers and sellers, borrowers and lenders, corporate management teams and significant stockholders. Albert also has significant experience working with senior executives on employment and executive compensation matters. As Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Ceridian Corporation (the then-parent of Comdata Network and now known as Dayforce, Inc.) from 2008 - 2011, Albert was primarily responsible for securities, financing and other commercial transaction matters, as well as corporate governance and compensation and benefit matters. In his law firm career, Albert has been involved in various levels of law firm management, including most recently leading Sherrard Roe’s Management Committee, and served on the boards of various community organizations, including currently serving as the Chairman of the Finance Committee for Brentwood (Tennessee) United Methodist Church.
