Atty. Ben Barnes

Ben is a trial lawyer and litigation partner in the Dallas and Houston offices, focusing on high-profile and complex disputes in Texas and across the country. A courtroom veteran, Ben has ushered public companies, investment firms, entrepreneurs, and corporate fiduciaries through trials, injunction hearings, and arbitrations. He focuses on energy and restructuring litigation, but his broad substantive experience also includes corporate governance, real estate and antitrust disputes. Ben has considerable experience representing plaintiffs in commercial disputes on a contingency or alternative fee basis. Before entering private practice, Ben clerked for the Honorable Raymond W. Gruender of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He has been an officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve since 2010 and currently serves as a policy analyst within the office of the Secretary of the Navy.
