Atty. Bryan McCracken

Bryan W. McCracken is a litigation associate who joined Ford O’Brien Landy LLP in 2022. Bryan mainly focuses on white-collar criminal defense, government & regulatory investigations, and complex commercial and securities litigation. Bryan has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® – Securities Litigation for 2024.

While at Ford O’Brien Landy LLP, Bryan has assisted with the following representations:

• A foreign CEO in federal district court on criminal charges related to economic sanctions on transactions involving a prohibited foreign country
• A hedge fund in a breach of contract action against a publicly traded company
• A business professional in investigations brought by the New Jersey Bureau of Securities and the Securities and Exchange Commission
• An employee of a large financial institution in an insider trading investigation brought by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York
• Individuals in both federal and state healthcare fraud and Anti-Kickback Statute investigations
• An individual in connection with $300 million asset seized by the U.S. government

Prior to joining the firm, Bryan obtained experience in federal litigation, interning with the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, Civil Division. During his time there, he helped defend the United States against two major administrative policy challenges. Additionally, Bryan was selected as a New York State Pro Bono Scholar, where he passed the New York State Bar Exam early during his final year of law school and then devoted the remainder of law school to pro bono landlord-tenant litigation with Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A in King's County Housing Court.

Bryan holds a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in Manhattan, New York, where he graduated in the Spring of 2022. He served on the editorial board of the Cardozo International & Comparative Law Review, as a research assistant in emerging e-discovery trends in civil litigation, and as a Teaching Assistant for first year students in Civil Procedure.

Bryan received his undergraduate degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University.

In his spare time, Bryan enjoys following his favorite sports team, the New York Rangers, and exploring the amazing food scene New York City has to offer.
