- He earned several other awards and academic prizes throughout law school and was selected to represent the University of Manitoba at the Laskin Moot Court competition
- Conner served as a law clerk to the Honourable Madam Justice Elizabeth Heneghan of the Federal Court of Canada for the 2013-2014 term, and prior to that was selected to clerk for the Judges of the Manitoba Court of Appeal during his final year of law school
