- Upon earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Emkey earned his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law
- At Widener Law, Mr. Emkey was a member of the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic and also participated in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program
- Following his passion for criminal law and litigation, Mr. Emkey found his success as a Berks County Assistant District Attorney, where he spent the majority of his time in the courtroom prosecuting major criminal cases
