- He also broadened his legal education with studies in international law at the University of Innsbruck in Austria and Cambridge University in England
- After graduating, Ehren joined The Law Office of Bill Jeffers, P.C., where he practiced in corporate law, bankruptcy, and Qui Tam litigation
- In 2002, Ehren returned to Austin, focusing on family law and co-founding Grandinetti & Ezzell, P.C
- Later, with the addition of Ramon A. Molinar, the firm became Grandinetti, Ezzell & Molinar, PLLC.
