Gary W. Smith, a native of Atlanta, and his wife are residents of Midtown. Mr. Smith is the founding member and senior attorney of Attorneys at LawSmith. Gary established Attorneys at LawSmith upon the principles that legal representation is a way to care for and minister to people in need and that every client deserves to be well represented and treated as a member of the client family. Mr. Smith has represented clients for over thirty years in all types of legal matters. His current practice focuses on personal injury matters, including car accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, dog bites, medical malpractice, workers compensation, premises liability, slip and falls, and wrongful. In 1974, Gary received his J.D. from Stetson University Law School, where he was a Moot Court Outstanding Participant. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Stetson University and a ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Dallas Theological Seminary. He was ordained as a minister in 2003. Mr. Smith is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Florida. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Florida Bar, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Christian Legal Society. Gary is also active at Northpoint / Buckhead Church, in Atlanta, Georgia, and in various other ministries and community organizations.
