Atty. Justus Jansen

Dr Justus Jansen (Lawyer of the Year Litigation, Hamburg, 2020, Lawyer of the Year Trade Law, Hamburg, 2022) is heading the Dispute Resolution practice group at GSK Stockmann since 2014.

The team has 23 members and is thus considered one of the largest dispute resolution teams in Germany with widely recognised expertise and track record in commercial, banking & finance, energy, international plant engineering and corporate disputes as well as in post-M&A disputes. In addition, investment protection proceedings have become an elementary part of the Dispute team’s ongoing advisory practice. Currently, the firm is involved in a large number of arbitration proceedings under various arbitration rules, in particular the rules of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS) as well as ad hoc arbitration proceedings. Justus Jansen is himself is regularly active as arbitrator as well as in arbitrator’s expert proceedings.

• Lecturer for Dispute Resolution and Private International Law at the International School of Management (ISM) in Hamburg from 2014 to 2015
• Studies at the Universities of Hamburg, Constance, Bordeaux (Université Michel de Montaigne, France), Cambridge (Sidney Sussex College, Great Britain) and Perugia (Italy)
