- In 2011, Mr. Boykins joined the 9th Circuit State Attorneys Office as an Assistant State Attorney and practiced criminal law for four years before leaving to take a position as a member of the Georgia Governor’s Office as the Liaison to the Central District of the Governor’s Office of Transition Support and Reentry
- In 2017, Mr. Boykins returned to Florida and, was introduced to civil law and insurance litigation through Koeller, Nebecker, Carlson & Haluck, primarily a construction firm, where he served as a trial associate
- Afterwards Mr. Boykins became a civil trial attorney at the Law Office of Grant & Dozier, LLC where he was responsible for insurance litigation and matters involving corporate clients
- Mr. Boykins joined Morgan & Morgan in 2023
