- As debtor’s counsel, Mr. Simon has successfully led the reorganization of numerous local and regional companies
- As counsel for judgment creditors in the Pittsburgh Corning Chapter 11 case, Mr. Simon helped change the nationwide template for the treatment of judgment creditors in asbestos bankruptcy cases
- As litigation counsel for Placid Oil Company, Mr. Simon successfully resolved eight cases involving the discharge of pre-bankruptcy legacy claims against Placid Oil and obtained two favorable rulings from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals regarding the discharge of such claims
