- Prior to this, Robert worked in family law for over seven years, most recently as a Special Litigator for the Office of the Attorney General Child Support Division
- Working both as a private attorney and for the state he has first chaired contested temporary orders hearings, mediations, and final trials
- Robert grew up in the Park Cities and he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Classics and History from Baylor University
- During his time at Baylor he cofounded a chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity which would grow to over a hundred members by his graduation
- After a gap year teaching SAT prep, Robert attended law school at the University of Texas School of Law where he graduated with honors
- As well as being active in Moot Court, Robert worked as a clerk and summer associate in several fields of law, ultimately deciding that he could best help people by zeroing in on a career in family law
- Since graduating Robert has worked as an attorney in both private and government practice, spending the last seven years mainly working on family law matters
- He was named an Assistant Attorney General of the Year for 2021
- Outside of the office, Robert is devoted to chess, his family, and sports
- When not spending time with his wife Jessica or daughter Sophie, Robert can be found playing chess (badly), playing soccer (badly), and attending church (he is fine at this)
