- He has also spoken at Estate Planning, Bankruptcy, Probate and Trust, Agricultural Law and Real Estate seminars
- Prior to graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Law College in 1972, Mr. Stowell received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1965
- Thereafter he served as an Infantry officer at various posts in the U.S.A and also served in the Republic of Vietnam in 1966-1967
- He concluded his military service as an R.O.T.C. instructor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1971
- After opening his law practice in Ord, Nebraska in 1972, Mr. Stowell has been active in church and community endeavors in Ord, Nebraska
