Atty. Robert H. Iseman

Robert H. Iseman is an Albany, New York–based attorney with more than 40 years of experience representing institutional and individual health care providers, health insurers, and related organizations. He practices at Rivkin Radler LLP, where his work focuses on complex regulatory, compliance, and litigation matters affecting the health care industry.

As a partner in the firm’s Health Services Practice Group, Mr. Iseman advises multi-provider health care systems, accountable care organizations (ACOs), hospitals, physician practice groups, health maintenance organizations, and third-party payors. His practice includes Commercial Litigation, Corporate Compliance Law, Health Care Law, Litigation – Antitrust, and Litigation – Regulatory Enforcement involving agencies such as the SEC, as well as matters affecting the telecommunications and energy sectors. He regularly counsels clients on corporate governance, compliance program development, internal compliance investigations, fraud and abuse issues, integrated delivery systems, medical staff relationships, peer review, risk management, and related litigation.

Throughout New York State and the surrounding region, Mr. Iseman also represents multi-hospital health care systems with religious affiliations. This work has included addressing the interaction between New York and other state civil laws and the Canon Law of the Roman Catholic Church, particularly as it relates to governance, transactions, and regulatory compliance for faith-based health care organizations.
