Atty. Robert Straubmeier

Robert is a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law and has many years of experience in litigation. He advises German and international clients in complex commercial disputes, in particular in the areas of insolvency law and corporate law (shareholder disputes, manager liability and in connection with corporate transactions and restructuring processes), commercial law (in particular international commercial transactions) and banking law. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in advising companies, shareholders and corporate bodies in connection with compliance violations, in particular internal investigations, crisis management and compliance enforcement.

Robert regularly leads specialized seminars in the field of insolvency and corporate law, with a specific focus on insolvency litigation, and serves as editor for the Beck’schen Fachdienst Insolvenzrecht (Beck's Insolvency Law Specialist Service).

Robert is also “highly recommended” by Leaders League for commercial litigation.

Before joining WACH UND MECKES, Robert was a lawyer in a supra-regional Munich law firm and partner in a commercial law firm, focusing mainly on insolvency and corporate disputes. From 2009 to 2013 he was a lawyer at Jordan & Hall, a law firm at the German Federal Court of Justice. There he supervised many appeals proceedings arising from various areas of business law.
