- Ryan also regularly participates in pro bono appellate matters through Florida's Guardian ad Litem program and the Legal Services of Greater Miami
- Ryan received his law degree from Florida International University in 2015
- He was on the Dean’s List in both the Fall of 2014 and Spring of 2015 and received the Book Award for Insurance Law
