- While there he was a member of the semi-finalist National Moot Court Competition team, acted as Moot Court Treasurer, served as Vice-President for the Environmental Law Society, provided legal assistance to indigent clients in the community through the University of Kentucky College of Law Legal Clinic, along with many other areas of involvement with his peers
- Upon completion of his judicial clerkship with the Honorable Judge Gregory A. Lay of the 27th Judicial Circuit of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and after working for several years with an insurance defense firm, Scott joined O'Bryan, Brown & Toner in the fall of 2016
- In his free time, Scott enjoys hiking, golfing, fishing, mountain biking, and really any and all other outdoor pursuits
