- Growing up in Arkansas I lived and went to school in Batesville for several years before moving to Little Rock and graduating from McClellan High School and then attending Arkansas State University before moving back to Little Rock and graduating from UALR
- I've spoken at several CLE courses for fellow defense lawyers over the years and helped numerous prosecutors around the State better understand the law
- In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, duck hunting, fishing and refereeing football
