He is a permanent resident since baby , he went to the Navy and protect the country during the first yrs of war in Iraq , He committed three felonies , and he's about to finished his probation in few months , can he apply to the citizenship right away ? or is better to wait a little be more ? please need advise
He needs to speak to a lawyer about the consequences of the felonies. He should not apply for citizenship right away, and depending on the crimes he committed, it might be best if he never does.

The decision is depend on the nature of his felony. If one or more of them are moral turpitude, he needs to consider getting a waiver first. His experience of fighting in Iraq will help him too. You need to work with a lawyer on this.
Also, he may not be able to depart the US and reutn without triggering removal (deportation) proceedings. When he tries to return to the US after traveling abroad, the customs and immigration officers will be able to see that he was previously arrested, and he will likely be put into removal proceedings. Depending on the nature of his convictions, he may not be able to avoid deportation in that event. He definitely should not apply for citizenship before consulting with an immigration lawyer.
No. He should not apply for citizenship. He should not leave the U.S. either because he may not be allowed to return. He needs to consult with an immigration attorney to provide details about the convictions, his family and his service. There are crimes that could lead not only to denial of his citizenship, but loss of his permanent residence, as well. He should speak with an immigration lawyer immediately.
