I am scheduled to be out of town for the week of Thanksgiving, I am also required to appear in court for my Guilty Plea on the day before Thanksgiving. What can i do, if anything to get another court date.

If you have an attorney representing you in the matter - which you should - then contact him/her about the conflict. If not, then contact the court and inform them (probably a clerk) of the conflict. Most courts are accommodating of people who show responsibility like you by calling in advance. Good luck.
