I found rusty tweezers in my package of cheez-its, what should I do??

I was eating cheez-its out of the box and reached in to get my finger pricked by something. I felt around and it was a rusty pair of tweezers! I was so disgusted and became sick. It has been a day and I'm still nauseous! My kids and I ate those cheez-its! Who knows where they have been and where the were used!! The package was definitely contaminated by the tweezers! I'm so upset. I can't stop thinking about how disgusting it is and it's making me sick! What do I do?

First, I suggest that you contact a doctor if you think you're ill for any reason. Once you have taken care of any health issues that may or may not have resulted from the cheeze-its, then you can contact a personal injury / product liabilities attorney in your state. You may or may not have a case depending upon the applicable laws in your state and whether you suffered any injuries. If you decide to contact a lawyer, I suggest you avoid waiting too long. In most states, there are statutes of limitations that apply to personal injury or product liability cases. If you don't file your claim withing the applicable statute of limitations, you may lose the opportunity to do so and lose important rights. If you think you have been injured in some way, I would suggest you contact a doctor and/or lawyer as quickly as possible. Good luck.

Just to add to the prior response. Its important to understand that the "ick" factor will probably not translate into a claim (disclaimer: I cannot speak for Oklahoma law, so you'll want to contact an attorney licensed to practice in that state, I am not). If you have real and significant health issues / damages as a result of eating a contaminated food product, you may then have a claim. Keep the bag, keep the rusty tweezers. The other challenging task will be to prove that the tweezers were actually in the bag before you opened it (i.e. that you did not place them there yourself) and that they caused any health issues that might arise from eating the contaminated food product.
