How do I go about getting a PFA removed?

I got a PFA against an ex-boyfriend and I now relaize that it was stupid and that he would never lay a hand on me. We both were just really upset that night and i was scared. We already went to court and decided that it would be good for a year and i was wondering if i could get it removed before that year is up

You can petition the court to have it removed, but generally, the court doesn't like doing that unless the circumstances require. If you wish to reconcile with him, then you can ask, but otherwise, you should just let it expire and not renew after a year. Good Luck!
