CA does not have a statutory rape law. Instead it has PC 261.5 which punishes unlawful sexual intercourse. In your case if you were 16 at the time and he was 19 he could be punished by a year in the county jail or up to 3 years if charged as a felony. The statute of limitations is one year for misdemeanors and three for felonies in this sentencing range. That said, if you are going to report you should do it as soon as possible. Will he change? In my non-legal opinion he will not and you will end up stuck with the baby. You should see a lawyer who knows something about both Family and Criminal Law.

If you are concerned with his manipulation and exploitation of other underage girls, then you should report him to the police. However, it sounds like you just want to threaten him so that he will become more loyal to you. He will not. Nor will the baby make him more loyal to you or make him love you. I suggest you see a counselor to improve your self-esteem and report him to the police.
