Chances of felony being dropped to a misdemeanor?

Criminal Defense 4 views 3 answers
I have a clean record. I am 23 years old and being charged in California for piracy. Its penal code 350(A)(2). I was selling burned Xbox 360 games on a DVD on craigslist and was set up. When I got caught I was selling 20 games for $70 so pretty much under $5 each and normally those games original retail price are $60. They came to my house and took my computer and about 6 other burned games and about 15 blank disks. I guess they thought I was making mass production when in reality I'm just a college kid from a low income family that sold burned games for a few bucks since I'm jobles and I used my computer mainly for graphic design. I do have tons of stuff downloaded from the internet on my computer but none which were for sell or on disks.what are my chances in court? Thanks in advanced

You need an attorney. This is a serious offense. If you cannot afford one the court will appoint one.

You need to hire an experienced defense attorney IMMEDIATELY. You need to rely on professional experience, not "chance" in circumstances like these. Your chances of facing additional charges from "Tons of stuff downloaded" may be very high, as well.

Depends n the felony and the circumshances surrounding the arrest. You need to a criminal defense attorney immediately.
