How do I know if my spouse got already served but has not answer?
I requested a contested dissolution of marriage, everything has been file and the Sheriff request to serve her has been also file. It is almost 30 days and I have not heard anything.

call the sheriff, civil process division, to ask. did you take the summons and petition to the sheriff to serve, did you pay the sheriff? if not, then it most likely was not served.

Call the sheriff's office and ask the status of service. Unfortunately, if you are dealing with Cook County, there is a strong chance she will not have been served. If not, you can ask for appointment of a special process server. You really should have an attorney to handle your divorce. There is no such thing as "request[ing] a contested divorce."

They do not contact you. Visit the same sheriff's where you placed the summons for service and inquire of them.
