Can I be taxed twice off a deduction taken from my check and then it was added back?

I had a garnishment for $200. Then it was added back to my next check because the company could not garnish me because of my bankruptcy. I was taxed twice on this money, is it legal?

How do you know that you were taxed twice on the money? Your employer would have withheld taxes on the $200 from the initial paycheck; however, you would have to speak to the employer to find out if they withheld taxes from the $200 that they added back to your next paycheck. Furthermore, although the tax may have been withheld, you are only required to pay tax on the income you've actually earned so if your employer withheld tax twice on the same amount your only recourse is to wait until you file your tax return for this year; the withheld tax will be credited to your tax account and, if you paid too much tax because your employer withheld on the same $200 twice, then you will get a refund of that excess tax. It may take some time, but at the end of the day - i.e., once you file your tax return for this year - you will not have been taxed twice on the same income.
