Is money my wife has in a Fidelity account in jeopardy if I file personal bankruptcy?

my wife has money in a fidelity account, solely in her name, from her dad, I had nothing to do with it. If I file bankruptcy - either 7 or 13 - is her money in that account 100% safe?

It depends on what type of account it is - is it a trading account or a qualified retirement account? If it is a simple trading account, then you will be required to disclose the account to the trustee who could (if they think it is viable and worth it) go after the money. It it's a retirement account, you'll still disclose it, but then I'd say it is 100% safe.
