Can my car be towed for no registration if i have a valid licence and insurance in Nebraska

the Stanton county sheriff is harassing my family. it is most likely two African american families in my town of woodland park. He pulled me over an d gave me a ticket for no registration. he then told me that if he sees me in the am he'll be taking me to jail and towing my car. my husband lost his job and we don't have much money, but we drive a nice car. ( we bought it right before he was fired) the sheriff tells me that maybe i shouldn't be driving such a fancy car. then says how lucky i am hes letting me drive o pick my daughter up from school. he continues to drive past our house. he then said he gets complaints on me for driving with no registration from my neighbors, if he pays his taxes i should too. who do i think i am. i caught him in the local store talking about me. what do i d
