I just buy this old car, I did inspection.
Now I'm escare to go to DMV and get titlle transfer to my name and register the car. The DMV check my background and call the police to let them know I'm there? Please help.
NC DMV's records will not show whether you have a warrant or not. You can go to any NC DMV and do this without any issue. However, like the other attorney stated, take care of the warrant. Depending on the charge, sometimes you can just walk in to the sheriff's office, be served with the warrant, and walk right out on an unsecured bond or a small secured bond. It can be an easy fix....don't complicate it!
Go clear up the warrant. Life is no fun trying to live on the run. Those pesky warrants tend to come up at the most inconvenient times.
They may check you for warrants. They may not.
