See if you can get a restricted license to allow you to travel to and from work. Speak to your criminal defense lawyer to see if he can help you.

Moving is not going to help. When you apply for a license in another state, you will be asked if your license to drive has ever been suspended or is currently suspended. If currently suspended, it is unlikely that the new state will grant a license.

The only thing you can do is get your NY license un-suspended.

NJ will not likely issue a new license since your NY one is suspended. Joseph A. Lo Piccolo, Esq. Immediate Past President, Criminal Courts Bar Association 11'-12' Hession Bekoff & Lo Piccolo 1103 Stewart Ave, Suite 200 Garden City, NY 11530 516-408-3666 (o) / 516-408-3833 (f) [email protected]
