Can I travel Outside US while EAD (of L2) is pending

I will be applying my wife's EAD (she is on L2) in 2 - 3 days. However she needs to travel back to our country next week (after applying EAD) for around 2 - 3 months and plans to return back to US. In such scenario 1. Can she travel back to the country of origin while EAD is pending and re enter into US after 2 - 3 months time ? 2. Will EAD authorization have any impact from her travel ?

Yes, she can travel while it is pending ... as long as she has a valid L-2 in her passport. But, she should wait for the biometrics appointment, 2-4 weeks after applying, before she leaves.
